Eastern Quality Foods is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Sales Operations Analyst to support our seafood division. For more than 60 years, Eastern Quality Foods has served as a trusted distributor of quality protein products throughout the United States and internationally.

Position Overview
The Sales Operations Analyst serves as a critical link among Sales, Logistics, Credit, Accounting, suppliers, and customers. The role requires sound judgment, analytical thinking, polished communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple business systems.
Success in this position requires a proactive, technology-minded professional who maintains a high level of accuracy, follows through on commitments, and consistently delivers excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations and Systems Management
• Receive, review, and process purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and inventory transactions in accordance with established procedures and customer credit limits.
• Maintain accurate customer, vendor, product, pricing, and order information across company systems.
• Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, credit compliance, and required documentation.
• Support inventory management relative to incoming domestic purchases, lost product and miss-shipments.
• Identify and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
Customer and Supplier Communication
• Serve as a professional point of contact for customers, domestic and international suppliers, and internal departments. Available to take orders, communicate with vendors and customers, and update contact information.
• Communicate with customers to obtain supporting documentation and assist in resolving customer deductions.
• Proactively communicate issues, changes, or risks that may affect order fulfillment or customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain positive business relationships through timely, clear, and professional communication.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Credit, Accounting, and Operations to support seamless order execution and fulfillment and resolve short payments.
Sales Team Support
• Assist sales representatives with account-management activities, customer inquiries, and follow-up needs.
• Monitor sales activity and help track performance against established goals.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and supporting materials for sales initiatives.
• Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, communications, marketing, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional business presence.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
• Ability to meet deadlines and remain effective in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Customer-focused mindset and commitment to responsive, high-quality service.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and sales performance metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
• Prior experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Compensation and Benefits
Eastern Quality Foods offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes:
• Base salary of $70,000-$75,000.
• Annual bonus potential of up to 10% of salary.
