Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Beijing, China, responsible for overseeing all financial functions of ArtChais and supporting strategic decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading financial planning and budgeting, managing cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The CFO will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, maintain internal controls, and support compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The role involves partnering with executive leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, assess financial risk, and optimize resource allocation. The CFO will also manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and investors, while building and mentoring a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience in corporate or startup financial leadership roles.
- Expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting, including long-term strategic forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Proficiency in preparing and overseeing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in accordance with applicable standards.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, actionable insights to leadership.
- Proven experience managing cash flow, capital structure, and fundraising or investor relations.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, tax considerations, and internal control frameworks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical, creative, and business teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
- Experience in technology, AI, or creative industries is an advantage, along with comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
