About the Role
Emburse is looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical QA Engineer (Salesforce / CPQ) to join our Business Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ solutions that support critical business functions across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Renewals.
You will play a key role in validating system enhancements, preventing production defects, and ensuring seamless execution of quoting, pricing, approvals, contract generation, and renewals processes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong QA mindset, hands-on experience with Salesforce and CPQ testing, and a passion for delivering high-quality business applications.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression test suites for Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ enhancements.
- Validate CPQ functionality including:
- Product Rules
- Pricing Logic
- Discounting
- Approval Processes
- Quote Generation
- Perform end-to-end testing across the Lead-to-Contract lifecycle, including Lead, Opportunity, Quote, and Contract workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce Developers, CPQ Developers, Administrators, and Business Analysts during sprint and release cycles.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure system stability.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders across Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Maintain QA documentation, test coverage metrics, and release readiness checklists.
- Participate in release planning, deployment validation, and post-release testing activities.
- Proactively identify risk areas and recommend improvements to testing practices, coverage, and quality processes.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or QA Engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience testing:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Salesforce CPQ
- Enterprise SaaS applications
- Strong understanding of Salesforce business processes and workflows.
- Experience creating and managing test cases, test plans, and regression testing suites.
- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to evaluate and validate complex end-to-end business scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Quote-to-Contract (QTC) and Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) business processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Salesforce or Salesforce CPQ certifications are a plus.
