Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including planning, reporting, risk management, and compliance. This role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, and strategic management to ensure fiscal health and support organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial software, accounting standards such as GAAP and IFRS, and industry knowledge of financial regulations. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, COSO standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Lead risk management initiatives by conducting thorough risk analysis and implementing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard assets and ensure operational resilience.
- Manage treasury functions such as cash flow management, banking relationships, and liquidity planning to optimize financial resources.
- Supervise the preparation of detailed financial reports and interpret complex financial statements for executive decision-making.
- Drive revenue management initiatives by analyzing market trends and developing financial projection models to support business development efforts.
- Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation support, and integration planning to expand organizational capabilities.
- Oversee compliance with tax regulations and governmental accounting standards while managing audit processes and internal controls.
- Cultivate a high-performing finance team through strategic leadership, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial practices.
Skills
- Extensive experience in finance leadership roles with strong management capabilities in strategic planning and operational oversight.
- Deep understanding of accounting systems, financial software applications, and technical accounting principles including GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606.
- Proven expertise in risk analysis, risk management frameworks such as COSO, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Skilled in financial modeling, forecasting analysis, profit & loss management, cost control, expense management, and budget development.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels; experience in fundraising for business development is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations affecting governmental accounting, supply chain finance, revenue cycle management, and cost accounting practices.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams within fast-paced environments; excellent communication skills for financial report writing and presentation.
