Position Summary: The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all revenue-generating processes within the organization. This executive role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development. The CRO will work closely with other senior leaders to drive revenue growth, develop new business opportunities, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Increasing broker inventory
- Optimizing broker pricing
- Creating and modifying broker rules
- Managing and enhancing broker relationships
- Leading business development for new channel partners (example: access to venue inventory for our secondary exchange through their APIs)
- Building and driving a GTM plan and sales motion to grow one of our entities.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue generation strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the sales, marketing, and business development teams to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels to drive business expansion.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with product development and operations teams to ensure alignment with market demands and customer expectations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, sales, and marketing activities.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, sales incentives, and promotional campaigns to maximize revenue.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence within the revenue organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in senior revenue-generating roles, including sales, marketing, and business development.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in developing and executing successful revenue growth strategies in a dynamic and competitive market.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics related to revenue generation.
