Job SummaryDirects, administers and coordinates the activities of the medical center in support of policies, goals and objectives established by the President and Chief Executive Officer and the Governing Body.
Job Description- Directs, administers and coordinates accounting activities, patient business services and statistical reporting function.
- Manages budgets, financial decision-making, controlling margins and debt and making decisions about hospital assets and resources.
- Directs the preparation of short term and long range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives and ensures their execution.
- Coordinates preparation of monthly balance sheet and operation statement for review by the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Works closely with external auditors to facilitate smooth and effective year end audit.
- Ensures that all organizational activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and laws governing healthcare operations.
- Provides leadership and support to all managers and departments, regardless of division, to achieve the organization’s mission.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Licensure/Certification: None required. CPA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years CFO or equivalent experience required.
Knowledge/Skills: Proven strategic financial planning skills. Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and strong professional work ethic.
