Role Description - The Chief Financial Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for leading the overall financial strategy and health of the organization. The CFO will oversee financial planning and budgeting, manage cash flow, and ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. This role includes supervising accounting processes, implementing internal controls, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. The CFO will partner with senior leadership to support business growth, assess investment opportunities, and optimize profitability. Day-to-day responsibilities also include financial risk management, performance analysis, and providing clear financial insights to guide strategic decision-making.

Qualifications -
- Strong foundation in Finance, including comprehensive knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, with the ability to develop and manage short- and long-term financial forecasts.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in accordance with applicable standards.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, evaluate business performance, and support strategic decisions.
- Proven leadership experience in senior finance roles, preferably as CFO or equivalent in manufacturing, retail, or jewellery sectors.
- Expertise in cash flow management, cost control, and risk management frameworks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with founders and cross-functional teams, and to present complex financial information clearly.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to transparency and ethical financial practices.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are highly beneficial.
