No recruiters please. No, really.
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS, RIGHT NOW
This is a permanent role, and we've decided to hire the strategist version of it rather than the coordinator version. It's opening now because one of our team is heading off on parental leave and the work hasn't slowed down for a second.
A QUICK HEADS UP
If most of your experience is running paid ads, or building email sends and reporting on open rates, this role will be a big step up. Both come up in the work, but they're a small part of it. The job is designing and building how a client's whole sales and marketing process runs.
WHAT IT ACTUALLY IS
You'll run HubSpot projects for clients from start to finish.
Most of that work right now is revenue operations, so that's where the need is. But it's HubSpot across the board: marketing, sales, service, reporting, and the occasional website project.
A typical project looks like this.
Discovery. Sit down with the client and work out how the business actually runs and where deals are getting stuck.
Design. Decide what the system should be. Lifecycle stages, pipelines, the handover between marketing and sales, what happens after someone signs.
Scope. Turn that into a phased plan, and keep it phased when the client wants to add things.
Build. You're in HubSpot doing the work. Workflows, properties, custom objects, integrations, reporting.
Reporting. Marketing, sales and service reporting the leadership team will actually open.
Testing and handover. Run UAT with the client, then write the docs and record the videos so they can run the system without us.
Ongoing. Plenty of clients stay with us for years. Usually that comes down to who's looking after them.
Budgets. A lot of our clients sit on Partnerships with a set budget each month. You own how that gets spent. What goes in this month, what waits until next, and telling the client early when something won't fit.
WHERE AI FITS?
AI isn't a side project here. We use it every day, in everything we do, and we build with Claude.
The work in front of you is HubSpot, RevOps and marketing strategy, plus plenty that doesn't fit neatly in those boxes. AI runs through all of it, and the client-facing side of that is growing fast.
So we need someone whose current skills are strong enough to carry the work we have today, and whose curiosity is real enough that when the AI side matures, you're the person leading it rather than the person it happened to. If you want a pure AI role, we're not it yet. If you want to be in the room while an agency works out what AI delivery actually looks like, and have real influence over the answer, that's this seat.
WHAT WE DO
NBH is Australia's #1 Diamond HubSpot partner and also the 2nd most awarded partner globally. We're a team of certified HubSpot trainers and have been building on HubSpot for over 11 years.
We help companies across Australia, the US, Europe and Asia rebuild how they sell, market and serve. CRM systems, revenue operations, sales and service automation, reporting that gets used, websites that hold it all together. We're 11 people. Small on purpose. The person a client talks to on day one of their project is the person building their system.
WHO YOU ARE
- You think in systems. When someone describes a problem, you're already three steps upstream working out what caused it.
- You've owned a full client project end to end, and you loved it
- You can hold your own with a founder and a CFO in the same morning without changing who you are.
- You can say no warmly. You've used that muscle enough times to know it builds relationships rather than damaging them.
- You write well. Scope notes, training docs, handovers that get read.
- You'd rather flag something half-finished on Tuesday than claim it's done on Friday.
- You're curious about AI in a hands-on way, you've actually tried things, not just read about them.
EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years in CRM, RevOps or Martech delivery. HubSpot strongly preferred. If it's Salesforce or similar, show us the thinking transfers.
- Demonstrable ownership of revenue process design, not just execution inside someone else's design.
- Agency or consulting background is a plus, but a strong in-house RevOps operator who's ready to work across many businesses is just as interesting to us.
WHAT'S ACTUALLY TRUE ABOUT WORKING HERE
- Yearly company retreats: Hamilton Island, Bali x 2, Noosa, Gold Coast
- Wellness and gym allowance
- Flexible Fridays, full day or half day, your call
- Office dogs welcome, including yours
- Flat management structure, no BS
- Free coffee, snacks, and a fridge that's rarely empty
- A crew of 11 pretty decent humans
HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Apply with your CV and a few lines in the cover letter field. Tell us about one CRM or sales process you designed or rebuilt: what was broken, what you changed, and what happened after. Write it like you'd say it.
Step 2: If you're shortlisted, we'll ask for a three-minute video. This role has you on video calls most days, so it tells us how you communicate, present and think. We assess on skills, experience and role fit only. Not what you look like, your age, or anything else that isn't the work.
For the video, all we want is a few minutes of you:
- What you like doing, work wise
- What you'd love to never do again
- What you reckon your last boss would say about you
No resume recap. No role-play. One take. Be yourself.
