Role Description The Sales Operations Analyst is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the sales organization with data-driven insights, process optimization, and operational excellence. Day-to-day activities include maintaining and improving CRM data quality, preparing sales reports and dashboards, tracking pipeline and forecast accuracy, and analyzing performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities. The role partners closely with sales, finance, and marketing to refine territory and quota models, streamline workflows, and support revenue planning. The Sales Operations Analyst will also contribute to sales tooling administration, documentation of processes, and development of best practices that enable scalable growth.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and interpretation of sales performance metrics.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and document processes in a structured way.
- Experience in sales and sales operations, including familiarity with CRM platforms, pipeline management, and sales process design.
- Understanding of finance concepts relevant to sales operations, such as revenue forecasting, quota setting, and budgeting.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across distributed teams.
- Background in B2B technology, industrial, or SaaS environments is a plus; experience with AWS or data-driven platforms is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Vertical Databases and Market Research
· Build ICP-rated account databases for our priority verticals
· Map buying groups at target accounts across operations, facilities, reliability, and maintenance
· Score and tier accounts by fit, site footprint, and buying signals
· Track new projects and expansions and turn them into prospecting lists
· Use enrichment tools to find and verify contacts, and keep imported data clean in HubSpot
· Prepare short market and competitor briefs to support campaigns and account planning
Sales Team Support
· Help sellers get the most out of HubSpot, sequences, and prospecting tools
· Maintain sales templates, playbooks, and presentation materials
· Suggest process improvements that save sellers time
What You Bring
· 1 to 3 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or sales development
· Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM
· Experience building prospect lists and running outbound email campaigns
· Familiarity with prospecting and enrichment tools such as Apollo, Seamless, ZoomInfo, or Clay
· Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and a sharp eye for data quality
· Clear communication and the ability to manage requests from multiple sellers
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
