About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, highly organised and personable Executive Assistant & Business Operations professional to work directly alongside an established Business Owner & Property Investor.
This is not a conventional desk-based PA role. It is a varied, hands-on position combining executive and personal support with business coordination across several established and growing ventures.
The businesses include:
· A property investment and lettings business established for over 25 years
· A growing independent coffee shop
· Property development projects
· A developing wellbeing, coaching and retreats business
No two days will necessarily look the same. You may be following up an issue within the property business, helping coordinate something at the coffee shop, researching a new opportunity, dealing with a supplier, organising travel or a personal appointment, or making sure an important project keeps moving.
The role is ultimately about understanding what is happening across the businesses, knowing the owner's priorities and turning conversations and decisions into action.
Over time, we want this person to become a trusted right-hand to the owner, with a strong understanding of the businesses and the confidence to take increasing ownership and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
· Keeping track of priorities, actions, deadlines and outstanding matters across the businesses
· Following up actions and making sure important tasks are completed
· Coordinating staff, contractors, suppliers and external partners
· Supporting the oversight of the property and lettings businesses
· Supporting the continued development and operation of the coffee shop
· Assisting with new projects, business ideas and property developments
· Researching and helping implement new systems, services and opportunities
· Liaising confidently with tenants, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders
· Identifying day-to-day issues and helping find practical solutions
· Providing executive and personal support when required, including appointments, travel, bookings and logistics
· Assisting with marketing and online presence where required
· Working closely alongside the owner, sometimes away from a traditional office environment, to capture priorities and turn them into action
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable in a role where not every day can be written into a job description.
· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
· Proactive, dependable and strong at following things through
· Comfortable taking ownership and using your own initiative
· A confident communicator with excellent people and customer-service skills
· Professional and personable, with the confidence to represent the businesses
· Calm, practical and solutions-focused when priorities change
· Commercially aware and genuinely interested in how businesses operate
· Tech-confident and quick to learn new systems
· Comfortable working closely with a business owner in a varied, entrepreneurial environment
Experience
Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, senior PA, Business Operations, Operations Coordinator, Business Manager or similar role would be highly desirable.
Experience working directly with a business owner, founder, MD or senior director would be particularly valuable.
Experience within property, hospitality, operations, project coordination or a multi-business environment would also be advantageous.
What You'll Get
This is an opportunity to work directly alongside an experienced business owner and become genuinely involved in the operation and growth of several businesses.
· A varied role with genuine responsibility and autonomy as trust develops
· Direct involvement in business decisions, projects and new opportunities
