Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in St. Petersburg, FL. The CFO will manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning to support luxury home development projects. Daily responsibilities include managing financial statements and reporting, monitoring project costs and profitability, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team. The CFO will lead the finance function, supervise accounting processes, coordinate with external partners such as banks and auditors, and present financial insights to support decision-making. This role involves close collaboration with leadership and project teams to align financial strategies with business objectives and growth plans.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role, preferably within real estate, construction industry.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong finance and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
- Expertise in financial planning and budgeting, including long-term forecasting and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Experience in financial reporting, including management reports, KPIs, and presentations for executive leadership.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in an on-site, fast-paced environment with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
