Job Title: Chief Sales Officer – Cyber Security / Cryptography – Products / Platforms / Solutions

Position Overview:
A dynamic and experienced Chief Sales Officer (CSO) with a strong background in Cyber Security / Cryptography / Security to lead our sales organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling Cyber Security products or platforms (PaaS), or SaaS based solutions across various industries in the USA. This role requires a deep understanding of the Cyber Security market, with the ability to drive strategic growth initiatives and deliver exceptional sales results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration. Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Market Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the Cyber Security industry, including emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, to drive business growth.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's customer base.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the company’s sales direction. Contribute to overall business strategy with a focus on scaling Cyber Security offerings.
- Product Positioning: Work closely with product teams to ensure that sales strategies align with product development and market demands. Effectively communicate the value proposition of Cyber Security solutions to customers.
- Performance Management: Establish clear performance metrics for the sales team. Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, with a predominant focus on selling Cyber Security products, platforms, or solutions in the USA.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Cyber Security market, including knowledge of key players, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and scaling sales teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Experience in driving sales growth through innovative strategies and customer-centric approaches.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and drive decision-making.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications in Cyber Security is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a senior sales role within a Startup or a leading Cyber Security product / Platform / Solutions company.
- Strong network and relationships within the Cyber Security industry.
- Familiarity with SaaS/PaaS models and cloud-based security solutions.
