Job Title: Sales Operations Manager
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Salary: $70,000-80,000
Description:
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day to day technical operations of our wholesale sales operations. This role is an essential conduit for key information between sales representatives, wholesalers and production leaders. The key functions of this role include oversight of state level compliance across our distribution network and new item setup with wholesalers and technology platforms, performing volume forecasts and managing market level goals, objectives and reporting thereof. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role for which flexibility, critical thinking and attention to detail are essential to success.
Essential Functions And Duties
Product Management/Compliance:
- End to end management of new product operations lifecycle:
- Oversee accurate product set up in internal systems (Ekos, VIP/SRS, OSP)
- Coordinate between marketing and brewery operations departments to ensure artwork is submitted and packaging materials are received on time
- Submit TTB Label registrations
- Oversee state level label registrations
- Oversee wholesaler new item process
- Oversee IRI database maintenance
- Oversee preparation of chain new item process
- Coordinate initial production dates and packaging splits
- Ensuring new products are being ordered by appropriate wholesalers to meet launch timelines
- Maintenance of systems data for current products (Ekos/SRS/OSP)
- Manage Product Release Master Files
- Ensure all non-core/year round brands are being allocated appropriately
- Maintain dates, coordinate with production to ensure release dates are achieved
- Ensure allocations are confirmed with wholesalers and added to orders prior to production of batch
Order/Inventory Management
- Weekly inventory review of wholesalers and HFBCo warehouse by product and SKU
- Sales order review to maintain targeted days on hand and that necessary seasonal, specialty and/or new products have been added to the order
- Pricing maintenance between invoicing system and wholesaler’s internal systems
- Review of production schedules and packaging splits to ensure they are meeting depletions forecasts
Reporting
- Provide actionable depletions forecasts to production scheduler
- Build and oversee maintenance of management level dashboards which allow for quick overviews of inventory levels across HFBCo and its wholesaler partners
- Build and oversee maintenance of management level dashboards showing depletions actual vs. budgeted and revenue forecasts vs. budgeted
- Other reporting projects as assigned
- Monthly reporting for out of state excise taxes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales operations or logistics experience
- Leadership skills and a track record for developing strong working relationships
- Experience and agility with a variety of computer systems
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
- Physical work includes climbing stairs, climbing into tanks, pulling hoses, etc
- Brewery environment:
- Conditions can run from wet, hot and cold conditions, depending on season
- Ability to work in frequently loud environments
- Ability/knowledge to safely work with chemicals present in the brewery
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and lift and/or move over 50 pounds with or without assistance
