Position: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
Location: Mumbai
Experience Required: 15+ years in Revenue Management, Sales, or Business Development, with at least 5 years of experience in the OTT industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead our revenue-generating initiatives on our OTT platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue growth and experience in the OTT industry. As a key member of the executive team, the CRO will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities across all verticals, including subscription, advertising, partnerships, and content distribution.
Key Responsibilities:- Revenue Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives, focusing on subscription, advertising, partnerships, and content monetization.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets. Drive new business opportunities, client acquisition, and retention strategies.
- Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the platform's content offerings, distribution, and reach. Negotiate high-value deals with content creators, advertisers, and distribution partners.
- Monetization Innovation: Innovate and explore new monetization strategies, including new subscription models, ad formats, sponsorship opportunities, and bundling strategies to drive incremental revenue.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior to inform revenue strategy. Leverage data to optimize pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies.
- Product Collaboration: Work closely with product and technology teams to ensure that platform features, user experiences, and functionalities support revenue growth objectives.
- Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the finance team to create forecasts, budgets, and financial plans. Monitor performance against budgets and adjust strategies to meet financial goals.
- Leadership and Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing revenue team. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between the revenue team and other internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, technology, and finance. Provide regular updates to the executive team and board on revenue performance and strategy.
Key Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Chief Revenue Officer or in a senior revenue leadership role within the OTT industry.
- Strong understanding of OTT platforms, digital content distribution, advertising, and subscription models.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful revenue strategies in a competitive market.
