Chief Financial Officer

Salary: Up to $210K Base + 20–30% Bonus

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

Step into the top financial leadership role for an established ~$35M business with an aggressive growth trajectory toward $75M–$100M.
Opportunity to build the finance function, team, processes, and infrastructure needed to support the company's next stage of growth.
Serve as a true strategic partner to entrepreneurial operating leadership while maintaining direct exposure to senior leadership at the parent-company level.
Play a key role in growth initiatives, operational decision-making, project profitability, and potential acquisition/integration activity.
Ideal opportunity for a CFO, VP Finance, or high-caliber Controller who wants to help build and scale a business rather than inherit a fully established finance department.

Chief Financial Officer – Key Responsibilities

Own the accounting and finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, controls, and overall financial operations.
Partner with operations to drive visibility into WIP, job costing, project profitability, margins, and business performance.
Build scalable financial processes, reporting, controls, and a high-performing accounting/finance team.
Provide strategic financial insight to leadership as the company grows from approximately $35M toward $75M–$100M.
Support growth initiatives, acquisitions/integrations, and other strategic projects while remaining willing to roll up your sleeves when needed.

Chief Financial Officer – Qualifications

CFO, VP Finance, or strong Controller-level experience within HVAC, mechanical, construction, specialty contracting, or another project-based business; experience in a $30M–$100M+ environment preferred.
Strong command of WIP, job costing, project profitability, operational finance, forecasting, and cash flow.
Proven builder who can create structure in an evolving environment and strategically partner with entrepreneurial leadership.
