Job Description
As the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at DBRU, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for two key pillars of our business: the real estate university and the wholesaler department. You will lead efforts to establish and grow these departments, working closely with the CEO and other executive team members to align sales goals with our overall vision. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and ensuring the success of our educational and wholesaling initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Department Leadership: Spearhead the development and growth of both the real estate university and the wholesaler department, including recruiting, training, and managing high-performing teams for each division.
- Sales Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s goals, focusing on scaling the educational offerings and expanding the wholesaling operations.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth across both departments through effective sales management, lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
- Team Management: Oversee sales teams across both the university and wholesaler department, setting performance targets, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and mentorship to ensure success.
- Partnership Development: Identify and develop strategic partnerships that support the company’s growth, enhance our market position, and create new opportunities for students and partners.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring DBRU remains at the cutting edge of real estate education and wholesaling.
- Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and other executives to ensure alignment across departments, contributing to the overall business strategy and long-term vision.
- Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, acquisitions, student enrollment, and team performance, providing insights to the executive team.
Qualifications
- Location: Must be in the Dallas/Fort Worth or surrounding area.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful sales teams. Experience in real estate education, wholesaling, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with experience in building departments from the ground up.
- Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Negotiation: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of closing high-value deals and forming strategic partnerships.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, market research, and financial modeling to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
