Finatal is partnering with a private equity-backed SaaS / DaaS business looking to hire an experienced CFO to help lead the next phase of its growth journey.
Over the last two years, the business has tripled to £15m ARR, driven by a combination of strong organic growth and strategic acquisitions across the UK and Europe. Backed by a highly regarded mid-market private equity investor, the company has ambitious growth plans over the next three years, with a clear objective of delivering a successful exit by 2030.
The business operates across the UK and European markets, providing mission-critical software solutions within a highly resilient end market. With a strong recurring revenue base, excellent customer retention and an active M&A pipeline, this represents an opportunity to join a high-growth platform at a pivotal stage in its evolution.
Working closely with the CEO, Board and investors, the CFO will be responsible for:
- Leading the finance function and acting as a key strategic partner to the CEO
- Driving value creation initiatives across the business
- Supporting an active buy-and-build strategy, including acquisition execution and integration
- Developing reporting, FP&A and commercial decision-making capabilities
- Managing banking, debt and investor relationships
- Scaling processes, systems and controls to support continued international growth
- Preparing the business for a future exit event
Candidate profile:
- Existing CFO or high-calibre Finance Director ready to step into a CFO position
- SaaS, software or recurring revenue experience
- Exposure to private equity-backed environments
- Strong M&A and integration credentials
- Experience scaling businesses through periods of rapid growth
- Commercially astute and credible with boards, investors and lenders
