Bowling Transportation Inc. is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial operations of our family-owned trucking and farming businesses. This key leadership position requires a hands-on professional with extensive knowledge of accounting, finance, transportation, agriculture, insurance, and banking relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Direct all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
- Oversee financial operations for both trucking and farming divisions.
- Manage relationships with banks, lenders, financial institutions, and other business partners.
- Coordinate and administer commercial insurance programs, including trucking, farm, equipment, liability, property, and workers' compensation coverage.
- Analyze costs, profitability, and operational performance to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support long-term stability and expansion.
- Lead and supervise accounting personnel and financial processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong accounting background with experience in financial management and reporting.
- Previous CFO, Controller, or senior financial leadership experience.
- Basic knowledge of the trucking and agricultural industries.
- Proven experience working with commercial insurance programs and financial institutions.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and accounting software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
