✅ Long-term career opportunity
✅ Opportunity to take ownership and develop the role

We are a close-knit business where people help one another when needed. While you'll have clear areas of responsibility, we're looking for someone who is comfortable getting involved across the business and helping keep things moving across the wider operation.
The Role:
As our Accounts & Business Operations Coordinator, you will play an important role in keeping the financial, people and administrative side of KEME organised.
A significant part of the role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, supporting bookkeeping and payroll processes and ensuring key administrative tasks and deadlines remain on track.
You will also support HR and recruitment activity, provide organisational support to the company directors and help maintain efficient business processes across both branches.
You will need to be comfortable working independently, managing confidential information and identifying what needs attention rather than always waiting to be asked.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Processing purchase and sales invoices, payments and account reconciliations.
· Investigating and resolving invoice, supplier and account queries.
·
- Preparing and processing payroll information, including hours, holidays and absence records.

- Liaising with accountants, suppliers and other external contacts as required.
- Maintaining organised business records, documentation and general office administration across the company and branches.
- Supporting the customer service/front-of-house team with calls, enquiries and reception cover support when required.
What We're Looking For:

- Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills and a professional manner.

- Previous automotive or small business/branch experience.
- Experience working within a multi-site or branch-based business environment.
- Experience improving administrative, financial or internal processes and systems
Automotive experience is beneficial but not essential. An interest in the automotive sector, along with a willingness to understand our services, terminology and day-to-day operations, will be important in helping you work effectively across the wider business.
You:
You'll be organised, dependable and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of your responsibilities.
You take pride in your work, communicate clearly, and understand the importance of professionalism, integrity and trust. You'll enjoy being part of a close-knit team and be happy to support the wider business when needed.
Working Hours & Location:
- Full-time permanent position.
- Monday to Friday.
- 40 hours per week, within our operating hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm.
- Some flexibility around start and finish times may be considered for the right candidate.
This is primarily an in-person role, working across our Edinburgh branches and closely with the directors and wider team.
Following successful completion of the probationary period, there may be the opportunity for a hybrid working arrangement for the right person, subject to the requirements of the role and the needs of the business. As this is a varied position supporting different areas of the company, regular on-site working will remain an important part of the role.
