A leading pan-European private equity investor, with approximately €1bn in assets under management, is seeking a Finance Operating Partner to drive finance-led value creation across its portfolio.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a credible finance leader who can partner with CEOs, CFOs and investment teams to strengthen businesses and deliver lasting performance improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Assess finance functions and set clear improvement priorities.
- Partner with CFOs and CEOs on reporting, forecasting, cash, working capital and controls.
- Strengthen finance teams and support CFO hiring, development and succession.
- Lead finance transformation across systems, processes, data and automation.
- Support due diligence, carve-outs, M&A integration, refinancing and exit readiness.
- Share best practice across the portfolio and track delivery of value-creation plans.
Your experience
- Senior finance leadership experience as a Group CFO OR Operating Partner.
- A strong track record in private equity-backed or complex, multi-entity businesses.
- Hands-on expertise in finance transformation, performance improvement and transactions.
- Credibility with boards and management teams, combined with a pragmatic, delivery-focused style.
- Pan-European experience and willingness to travel; additional European languages are an advantage.
