Business Operations Manager | Renewable Energy
We’re recruiting a Business Operations Manager for a renewable energy business to strengthen financial control, reporting and governance across its project portfolio.
Working closely with project teams, finance, procurement and senior leadership, you’ll bring together reliable information on project costs, commitments, cash flow and risk to support key business decisions.
The role
This is a hands-on, finance-focused position, with approximately:
• 50% finance and cost control - budgets, forecasting, project and portfolio reporting, cash flow and funding support.
• 25% governance and reporting - improving systems, processes, project controls and data quality.
• 15% consultant and advisor management - tracking costs, commitments, deliverables and performance.
• 10% procurement and administration - overseeing purchase-to-pay workflows, contract registers and approvals.
You’ll also lead the Project Administration function and support projects through development and construction.
About you
You’ll bring strong experience in cost control, forecasting and reporting, gained within project controls, finance operations, commercial management, PMO or business operations.
You’ll be confident working across teams, improving processes and turning complex data into clear information for management. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with procurement processes are essential.
Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, construction or major projects would be valuable, as would exposure to project finance, lender reporting or ERP systems.
