As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and success. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven executive, preferably with a background in IT Field Services who can leverage their industry expertise, network, and leadership skills to lead our sales, marketing and revenue operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and a passion for building and motivating high-performing revenue organizations. The CRO will be responsible for scaling the company’s sales and marketing efforts to drive growth and improve profitability. You will work closely with the executive team to align strategies, enhance client relationships, and ensure the company meets its financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to foster individual and team success.
Sales Execution: Lead and oversee the sales team to ensure that revenue targets are met or exceeded. Identify and implement improvements in the sales process to enhance efficiency and closing rates.
Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with marketing to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, leveraging your industry network to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Work closely with the client success team to drive customer retention and satisfaction, identifying upsell opportunities and ensuring client renewal rates.
Sales Performance Optimization: Implement best practices, processes, and tools to optimize sales performance and efficiency. Monitor sales metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, including new verticals, geographies, and customer segments. Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the company’s market presence and revenue streams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including Marketing, Operations and Dev, to ensure alignment and synergy across functions. Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
Travel: Conduct periodic travel (up to 25%) for client meetings, industry events, and to support business development efforts.
