Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead our revenue generation strategy and drive sustainable growth within our FinTech business. The CRO will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales, marketing, and revenue operations, aligning them to optimize profitability and market expansion. This individual will have end-to-end ownership of revenue streams, complete P&L management, and will lead cross-functional teams to meet ambitious business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy to drive top-line growth and profitability across all business lines.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, product innovation, and strategic partnerships within the FinTech sector.
- Align sales, marketing, and product teams with the broader revenue strategy.
- Take full responsibility for the Profit & Loss (P&L) management, ensuring that financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Implement robust financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost-control measures to maintain operational efficiency and profitability.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, setting and managing ambitious sales targets, quotas, and KPIs.
- Establish strong sales processes and methodologies, ensuring high conversion rates and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, serving as a trusted advisor to support long-term revenue generation.
- Oversee the entire marketing function, including demand generation, branding, product marketing, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing campaigns and improve customer engagement.
- Ensure close alignment between marketing and sales to drive qualified leads, accelerate the sales cycle, and maximize conversion rates.
- Build, lead, and scale high-performing sales and marketing teams, focusing on talent development and succession planning.
- Foster close collaboration with product, finance, and technology teams to ensure alignment of revenue goals with product delivery and innovation.
- Lead initiatives to expand the company's footprint in new markets and verticals, developing go-to-market strategies that resonate with targeted customer segments.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to maintain a competitive advantage and ensure continued market leadership.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of leadership experience in sales, revenue, or business development roles, with a significant portion within the FinTech industry.
- Proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Comprehensive experience managing P&L and end-to-end ownership of marketing and sales functions.
- Strong understanding of the FinTech landscape, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and customer needs.
- Expertise in leading large, cross-functional teams with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale sales teams, design effective sales processes, and drive strategic partnerships.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, customer acquisition, and lead generation strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or similar advanced degree preferred).
