Chief Financial Officer
Global Logistics Business | Miami, Florida | $200,000-$220,000 + Bonus
We are partnering with an established international logistics group to appoint an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead its global finance function and support its continued growth.
This is a senior strategic appointment for a commercially minded finance leader with a strong background an international logistics business. The successful candidate will bring experience managing complex multinational finance operations, driving profitability and supporting business growth across multiple entities and geographies.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will take ownership of the group's financial strategy and performance, overseeing finance operations across multiple countries, currencies and business units.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead multinational finance: oversee financial operations across multiple countries, currencies and entities.
- Strengthen financial control: manage group consolidations, reporting and international compliance.
- Drive profitability: analyse margins by customer, trade lane, service line and region.
- Control cash: improve forecasting, working capital, liquidity and collections.
- Support growth: lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning.
- Lead M&A: oversee due diligence, valuations and post-acquisition integration.
- Partner the CEO: drive commercial decisions, cost efficiencies and shareholder value.
Profile:
- Experience in a senior finance leadership position.
- Strong background in international logistics or closely related sector.
- Proven experience managing multinational finance operations and multi-entity consolidations.
- Strong technical understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and international accounting standards.
- Experience analysing operational profitability, pricing and margins across different business units and geographies.
- Strong cash flow, working capital and treasury management experience.
- Exposure to M&A, financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to partner senior operational leadership and influence strategic decisions.
The Opportunity:
- Base salary of $200,000-$220,000 plus bonus.
- Strategic leadership position reporting directly to the CEO.
