About us
theprintspace and creativehub have spent 18 years transforming how art is sold, with a blend of art, data and technology. Today we are a leading platform for online art and creator sales, with production in Shoreditch, Düsseldorf, Brooklyn and Texas and an operations team in India. The market is going through a once-in-a-generation disruption: social commerce. An artist or creator with an engaged following can now sell prints, apparel and one-of-a-kind pieces directly to that audience. When they do, the orders arrive in a wave: a drop announced on a Thursday is thousands of orders by Sunday, across four countries, every one promised to a fan who has never bought art before. Making, framing and delivering that wave on time, every time, is what our operation does. The whole thing runs on software we built ourselves, with AI in the workflow at every stage. Production is scaling by an order of magnitude over the next three years. That will not happen by working harder. It will happen because someone treats the operation as a system (orders, stock, people, cash), reads what the data is telling them, finds the constraints and removes them one by one. That someone is you.
The job
You own the flow layer of the business across every site: the drops and campaigns coming from our artist managers and the capacity plan agreed with production; orders scheduled and dispatched on time; framing stock planned ahead of spiky demand; and the cost of avoidable failures (air freight, emergency transfers, stock-outs) root-caused and driven to zero. The systems, the data and the dashboards already exist. Your job is to run the operation on them: see the problem before it becomes a late order, decide what moves, make it happen across the sites, and tell the software team what the system should do differently next. You run it on numbers, not memory, and you report directly to the CEO.
Production itself is run by the production managers and the Global Production Director; you make the system around them work. The artist managers own the creators and their launches; you make sure what they promise can be kept, and tell them early when it cannot. You do not need a manufacturing background. You do need to understand time, cost and quality as trade-offs, and to be comfortable that balancing them is mostly a quantitative exercise.
Who this is for
Someone looking to take the next step in their career. You have been the analytical engine of an operations, bizops, consulting or finance team, have fixed a workflow end to end and measured the result, and are ready for a remit bigger than the one you have: five sites, a direct line to the CEO, and the authority to change how work flows. It suits someone who likes to move fast, take decisions quickly, and implement, test and iterate rather than wait for certainty. We would rather give that remit to someone sharp, hungry and hands-on who will grow into it than to someone who has done it before and wants to do it again.
Minimum experience. At least three years in an operational management capacity: running, or materially improving, a workflow with real accountability for its results.
AI first. We are an AI-first company: it is in the workflow at every stage, and we use Claude Code daily. You will be comfortable using AI and data to get to the root of a problem, redesign the process around it, and write the brief for the software change that fixes it for good, rather than patching the symptom.
Two things we screen for. Please read before applying.
1. A quantitative mind. A strong academic record, and a habit of reaching for the numbers first. You will be asked to model a problem live in the interview. If a spreadsheet or a script is not your natural first move, this is not your role.
2. High agency. People who define their own goals, search the solution space, build the solution and measure the result. We care how you think and what you have built, not how long you have been doing it.
Your first six months
Know the on-time, stock and failure numbers for every site cold. Agree the first capacity plan with production and hold both sides to it. Take a creator drop from announcement to the last delivery and know where every hour went. Find the biggest constraint, fix it, and show the number moved. Produce the monthly operations report that attributes every late order and every failure cost to its cause, and run the post-mortem that follows.
What we offer
• Salary and a performance bonus
• A direct line to the CEO and a remit across four countries
• A seat in the company widely recognised as the leading innovator in social commerce for artists and creators
• Hybrid working from our Shoreditch studio: the operation is run from the floor, so most of the week is spent there, with travel to the other sites as the work needs
How to apply
Apply on our website (link in next step). Alongside your CV, answer two questions, in detail: two examples of high agency, from any part of your life, ideally involving technology. For each: the problem, how you searched for a solution, what you built or did, and the measurable result. Choose things that were not obvious, things the people around you did not do. We will ask for the receipts.
We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to any characteristic protected by law.
