Role location:
We are open to candidates based in Toronto, ON/the Greater Toronto area with the right to work in Canada.
This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day in the office, which is conveniently located within the Financial District of Downtown Toronto, near Union Station and the TTC, while the remainder of time can be spent working from home.
This role is a global role, meaning that you will be engaging with colleagues and leaders located in varying time zones throughout Ignition’s 3 operating regions - AMER (US & Canada, within both Eastern & Pacific time zones), EMEA (the UK) and APAC (Sydney & Brisbane time zones). The ideal candidate will need to be flexible to accommodate working hours to suit all time zones, including evenings as required.
Job Description
The Revenue Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in optimizing and streamlining revenue processes. Reporting to the Director, Revenue Operations, this specialist focuses on harmonizing sales, marketing, and customer success strategies to ensure consistent and efficient revenue generation practices. By optimizing tools, championing data hygiene, analyzing performance metrics, implementing best practices, and leveraging data-driven insights, the specialist enhances operational efficiencies and drives revenue growth. Their role is vital because it ensures alignment across different functions and regions. From tracking new leads, all the way to measuring customer retention, this individual supports Ignition's revenue goals in a competitive global market.
What your day to day will look like:
- Revenue Tool Management: Oversee and manage tools including HubSpot, Vitaly, ChiliPiper, Gong, Intercom, Recurly, Asana, Segment & Amplitude
- Project Management: Coordinate with the Revenue Operations Team to manage roadmaps, prioritize tasks, and resolve technical issues
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve current processes and deploy new ones to track key metrics
- Data Analysis: Make data accessible, conduct detailed analyses, and identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing and CX to ensure alignment and coordination
- Reporting: Build and improve reporting dashboards in HubSpot and Looker to track metrics, and report performance to sales leaders.
Qualifications
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a sales operations, marketing operations, customer experience operations, revenue operations, Go-To-Market systems or similar role.
- You have experience supporting Go-To-Market teams such as Sales, Marketing or Customer Success.
- You have experience working with modern sales tools and are proficient in HubSpot. Experience or familiarity with Vitaly, ChiliPiper, Gong, Intercom, and Recurly, Segment & Amplitude are a plus!
- You have demonstrated strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to explain complex processes simply.
- Must be an exceptionally organized individual, who is used to managing tasks and project boards in Asana.
- You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining rigorous attention to detail and data accuracy.
