Position Summary:
The VP Global Sales Strategy & Operations will be responsible for partnering with the Sales Team to fuel business growth and drive productivity. This role will be managing all Global Sales operations functions and will partner closely with the other functions within Revenue Operations to create a seamless, frictionless, end-to-end process for the Sales Team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record partnering with Sales Leadership to provide timely, insightful information on performance and manage the day-to-day execution of the Sales Strategy. S/He will be responsible for the Sales Strategy definition in cooperation with the CRO and its implementation at global and local level through the design and implementation of cost-effective processes and systems.
What you'll be working on:
- Manage the Global Field Operations and the Central Operations teams
- Manage relationship with CRO and members of the Sales Leadership team
- Develop insights through the analysis of Sales KPIs and present them in a simple, effective fashion
- Support the design and implementation of policies, processes, and systems to increase the Sales Team’s productivity
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop Board-level presentations and identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage the forecasting process and drive increase accuracy
- Manage the evolution of the sales pipeline from creation (leads) to closure
- Manage the design and implementation of Sales Incentive Compensation along with its ongoing administration
- Design and maintain executive dashboards to evaluate health of the business
- Lead the semi-annual planning process
What you'll bring to the role:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Sales/GTM strategy and execution in a leadership role, with a focus on successfully implementing sales strategies and driving results in a channel-first environment
- Proven track record managing Sales Operations in a High-Tech environment inclusive of SaaS, on prem subscriptions, Hardware, and Hybrid go-to-market motions
- Deep financial and business acumen combined with strong analytical skills to drive sales productivity and performance
- Experience with sales teams geared to different customer segments and routes-to-market
- Strong abstract thinker able to apply complex concepts across a variety of situations
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Advanced analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to develop scenario analysis and identify trends and levers in attainment data
- Proven track record creating solid cross-functional partnerships across Finance, Sales, Legal, Business Systems/IT, and other Operations teams
- Strong tolerance for ambiguity; able to focus and execute in a changing environment; ability to make things happen
- Experience working with remote sales and business partner teams
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Salesforce CPQ, Clari platforms
- Experience coaching and developing teams
- Excellence ability to work cross-functionally Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate information across teams, roles, and levels
- Ability to lead without authority
- Bachelor’s degree (Master preferred)
