Role Summary:
The Deal Desk, Business Analyst should be an outgoing, self-starter who is comfortable and confident working on multi-dimensional projects across sales, operations, and finance. This position will serve as a trusted advisor to the sales team on deal structuring, pricing, quoting, contract management, and revenue optimization. The business analyst will also provide key insights based on available data and help business stakeholders make informed decisions and stay on plan to achieve the company and business unit goals. This role will require strong business acumen with the ability to perform advanced analytics and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop expertise in deal models, pricing strategies, distribution models, financial metrics, and quoting process

Partner with field sales team to ensure deals are optimized to meet program guidelines and strategic business objectives

Monitor quoting queue in Salesforce, consistently maintaining expected turn around times

Perform on-going analysis to support core business activities primarily focused on supporting the sales and operations teams within North America

Create documentation and training materials related to process and policy

Develop reports and dashboards to track performance against business initiatives and sales objectives

Support members of the selling, retention and distribution management teams through customer and partner analysis

Monitor system (CRM) adoption, process compliance, and data integrity

Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization with a focus on scalability and driving operational efficiency

Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses as required
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or other related fields required

2-5 years prior work experience in a related role such as Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Finance is highly preferred

Experience with Salesforce.com and CPQ highly preferred
