Responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization. To set strategic direction, determine pricing, create promotions, and explore new distribution opportunities. To lead and inspire robust revenue management practices within the business. Responsible for setting and ensuring that hotels follow the company’s revenue management standards. Enable the hotels to achieve either 1st or 2nd position for revpar in their respective comp sets.
- Independently implements appropriate hotel inventory distribution strategy; maintains accurate rates and inventory allotments in the IDS/GDS/CRO and property PMS in a timely manner to promote rate parity throughout all booking channels.
- Develops near and long-term top-line room revenue hotel forecasts upon request from the VP Sales & Marketing
- Conduct competitive and demand analysis
- Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting
- Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends
