About the Role
The Senior Director of Sales Operations is a high-impact, strategic leadership role focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales organization. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to craft and execute sales strategies, streamline processes, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance sales performance and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading sales operations in the technology sector and a strong aptitude for aligning operational excellence with business goals.
Candidates based in the Greater Seattle Area are preferred, but remote candidates within the United States who can travel regularly to Seattle will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Partner with executive leadership to define sales strategies, set annual targets, and develop initiatives that drive revenue growth.
- Sales Process Optimization: Create and implement streamlined processes to boost productivity and improve overall sales effectiveness.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Lead sales analytics and reporting systems, providing actionable insights to support data-driven decisions.
- Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Oversee forecasting and pipeline efforts to ensure accurate revenue projections and resource alignment with targets.
- Technology & Tools Management: Collaborate with systems teams to implement and optimize Salesforce and other sales tools to align with sales objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and a unified approach to customer acquisition and retention.
- Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing sales operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in Sales Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within the technology industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), BI tools, and data analytics.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strategic Mindset: Strong capacity to align operational strategies with business objectives.
- Analytical Skills: Adept at solving complex problems using a data-driven approach.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.

- Compensation: Annual pay range of $225,000 - $320,000, including eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
