About Etched:
Etched is building AI chips that are hard-coded for individual model architectures. Our first product (Sohu) only supports transformers, but has an order of magnitude more throughput and lower latency than a B200. With Etched ASICs, you can build products that would be impossible with GPUs, like real-time video generation models and extremely deep chain-of-thought reasoning.
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Operations (RevOps) Specialist to support our go-to-market strategy and optimize revenue processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing sales data, prioritizing market verticals, and ensuring our sales team is equipped for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vertical Prioritization: Assist in identifying and analyzing high-potential verticals to inform strategic initiatives and resource allocation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Create and maintain sales performance reports, dashboards, and projections to provide insights for decision-making.
- Sales Compensation Support: Support the implementation and tracking of sales compensation plans to ensure alignment with company goals and sales team motivation.
- Sales Operations Assistance: Help streamline sales processes and enhance the effectiveness of CRM tools, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to align operational strategies and support go-to-market initiatives.
- Market Research: Stay updated on trends in the cloud and GPU markets to inform operational strategies and sales approaches.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making by sharing insights and best practices with the sales team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Business Operations, preferably in semiconductor or technology hardware industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with sales compensation structures and performance metrics.
- Understanding of chip hardware markets and applications is a plus.
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
How we’re different:
Etched believes in the Bitter Lesson. We think most of the progress in the AI field has come from using more FLOPs to train and run models, and the best way to get more FLOPs is to build model-specific hardware. Larger and larger training runs encourage companies to consolidate around fewer model architectures, which creates a market for single-model ASICs.
We are a fully in-person team in Cupertino, and greatly value engineering skills. We do not have boundaries between engineering and research, and we expect all of our technical staff to contribute to both as needed.
