As a Regional Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the sales and operational performance of branches within your designated region. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations in collaboration with Branch Managers to ensure alignment with sales and profit objectives.
- Guarantee a safe working environment and ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations through effective safety training and monitoring.
- Analyze monthly profit and loss statements with Branch Managers, providing constructive support to meet financial targets.
- Ensure administrative functions are standardized across branches for optimal efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or theft, ensuring proper stock is maintained.
- Assist in formulating annual sales and operational budgets in accordance with company objectives.
- Conduct regular site assessments to monitor branch performance and adherence to compliance standards.
- Direct the sales team to enhance strategies, track performance, and develop client accounts.
- Identify potential new accounts and oversee the sales initiatives in your region.
- Address performance gaps by collaborating with senior leadership to create tailored improvement plans for sales representatives.
- Engage in the annual sales budgeting process to ensure alignment of individual targets with company goals.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to identify new product opportunities that can drive profitable growth.
- Support the negotiation of pricing and sales terms with key customers alongside the purchasing department.
- Participate in the recruitment and staffing processes for branches, ensuring teams are well-equipped to meet business demands.
- Cultivate a culture of growth by mentoring Branch Managers and aiding in the development of their teams.
- Approve compensation adjustments and conduct annual performance reviews for your managers.
- Explore opportunities for new branch openings or acquisitions within your region.
- Conduct market research to assess new geographic areas for expansion.
- Formulate and implement business plans to support branch development initiatives.
