We are seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to join our team and support the Deal Desk. In this role, you will collaborate with customers of all sizes to assist in designing and implementing tailored deals and licensing models that empower them to maximize their use of Clearwater’s products and services across the globe.
As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will work closely with Clearwater’s sales, business, and legal teams to support the development of strategies that drive profitable, scalable, and compliant deals. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to build relationships, analyze business opportunities, and simplify complex scenarios while contributing to the creation of mutually beneficial deal pricing and terms.
Responsibilities
Assist in the decision-making process on customer agreements by applying business judgment and understanding licensing principles.
Collaborate with sales, legal, and business teams to identify and resolve agreement issues, ensuring that all stakeholders have the necessary resources to create successful proposals.
Support the adherence of sales and negotiation strategies to established guidelines, policies, and legal standards.
Help manage pricing guidelines and discount structures in partnership with accounting and sales leadership to maintain competitive positioning while meeting corporate goals.
Aid in streamlining operational contract processes to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and operational guidelines while meeting customer needs.
Contribute to the evaluation and optimization of deal desk processes and tools, including the use of CRM and CPQ systems, to enhance efficiency and reduce friction in the sales process.
Provide insights on deal performance, pricing and discounting trends, and win rates to assist in decision-making.
Analyze key deal desk metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus, but not required.
Interest in learning about ASC 606 Revenue Accounting guidelines.
Strong analytical skills and a desire to contribute to the development of guidelines, policies, and operating models for deal desk operations.
Excellent listening, written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills to effectively convey concepts to stakeholders.
Ability to maintain a courteous and professional demeanor while managing high-pressure situations, particularly during end-of-quarter periods.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and a willingness to engage in strategic problem-solving.
