We are now looking for a Sales Operations Manager to strengthen our Dometic Mobile Cooling team.

Purpose of the Role

The new Global Sub-Segment, Dometic Mobile Cooling, which has been created by combining our Dometic branded Mobile Cooling business with Igloo, is looking for a Sales Operations Manager who will safeguarding the complete sales process from the point of order to delivery as well as being the interface between the BU and shared service. This person is an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Manager who will oversee the day-to-day activities of our supply chain department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, as well as experience of leading and motivating a team of employees. They will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our supply chain, as well as developing and implementing strategies to improve our overall processes and performance.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals
Forecasting and demand planning
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supply chain department
Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock outs
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise
Coordinate transportation of goods to meet customer demand
Together with the supply chain function, develop plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs throughout the supply chain
Use data analytics to identify trends and optimize processes
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Manage and motivate a team of supply chain professionals
Prepare reports for upper management on the department’s performance
Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints

Who are we looking for

Qualifications and Experience

We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:

Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or related field
5+ years’ experience in a supply chain or operations management role
Proven track record of streamlining processes and reducing costs
Experience managing and developing teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

APICS certification
Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Working knowledge of statistical analysis software
