JOB SUMMARY:

Our client, a growing swim and apparel brand, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead their sales strategy and execution across all channels. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the luxury fashion industry, specifically within direct-to-consumer models. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market, a proven track record of driving sales growth, and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the brand's vision and goals. This includes identifying growth opportunities in existing and new markets, particularly within the swim, resort, and dress segments.
Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability. Ensure the team is equipped to meet and exceed sales targets.
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, including new product launches, partnerships, and potential retail or pop-up opportunities.
Customer Experience: Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and other departments to ensure a seamless and luxurious customer experience across all touchpoints.
Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize sales data and analytics to inform decision-making, optimize pricing strategies, and improve sales processes. Continuously monitor market trends and customer feedback to adjust strategies as needed.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including VIP customers, partners, and industry influencers. Represent the brand at key events and in the media as needed.
P&L Management: Oversee the sales budget and P&L, ensuring that sales initiatives are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment.

Qualitications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the luxury fashion industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of driving sales growth in a direct-to-consumer environment.
Strong understanding of the luxury market, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the women's swimwear and dresswear industry, with a focus on wholesale distribution channels.
Established network of contacts and relationships within the luxury retail sector, including boutique stores, hotels, resorts, and big-box retailers.
