Job Overview
We are a boutique public insurance adjusting firm with a friendly and highly motivated staff, currently in need of an organized, dynamic Business Operations Assistant for our rapidly growing company. In this role, you will work closely with the firm’s public adjusters (PAs), providing daily administrative and operational support.

Job Description
- Provide general administrative support to PAs including correspondence processing and coordination between insurance companies, clients, and vendors.

- Create and maintain accurate, complete records for operations and claims.

- Answer incoming phone calls as needed.

- Prioritize tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion of operational objectives.

- Communicate effectively with insurance companies, clients, and vendors, to obtain or provide claim information as needed.

- Monitor email inboxes and analyze emails to process and route appropriately and in a timely manner.

- Review, proofread, and edit documents as required.

- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills

- Collaborative mindset with high standards and high level of responsibility and accountability.

- Strong ability to work with minimal oversight and prioritize appropriately.

- Proven work experience as a Business Operations Assistant or similar role, showcasing excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.

- Ability to analyze challenges, develop solutions, and implement effective problem-solving strategies.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and navigate evolving operational requirements.

- Strong client-facing skills.

- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficiency in administrative software like Word, Excel, Google Workspace, and ability to adapt to new technology and achieve proficiency in different software systems.

- Meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

- 3+ years progressively responsible administrative or strategic support experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.17 - $27.08 per hour
