A Dallas based company with $150Mil in revenue and 250 store locations has a project need for an Interim CFO. This company has gone through several acquisitions & this business is focused on automotive services. The company has had a large growth period focused on expansion and is owned by private equity.

Responsibilities:

The project opportunity is for an Interim CFO for a 4+ Month project to provide Accounting and Finance Department assessment and execute improvements. The consultant will primarily focus on day-to-day oversight and leadership for the accounting & finance department, and take advantage of opportunities for improvement and efficiency. The project is meant to oversee and maintain the Finance & Accounting function until the new CFO is hired. The team of ~15 are mainly onsite in the Dallas office.

Process Improvements (Speed & Accuracy)
Improve Documentation
Create Policy & Procedure to prevent material mistakes with monthly/annual P&L's
Create better controls and process (Inventory Management & Fixed Assets)
Build strong relationships with Business Unit Leaders, across all channels and business units, to ensure a solid understanding of their business goals and objectives
Assist in establishing short- and long-range finance departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

Qualifications:

10+ years’ experience of success at SVP level with 5+ at the CFO level
Hands-On ERP Experience is preferred
Franchise / Multi-Point Locations Retail / Services or some combination is required
CPA is Highly Desired
Experience working for PE-backed business strongly preferred
Must be currently living in the DFW area to be strongly considered
