We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with extensive experience in real estate transactions and financial strategy. This executive will play a critical role in managing financial operations, overseeing investment structures, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The CFO will be responsible for negotiating and transacting with clients, leveraging financial and accounting expertise to drive sustainable growth and optimize business performance. This role is based in our San Francisco office and requires a leader who is both strategic and hands-on in managing complex financial and legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Lead complex real estate transactions, structuring deals that align with long-term financial objectives.
Develop and execute financial strategies to support sustainable real estate development and investment initiatives.
Ensure strict compliance with all accounting regulations, financial policies, and legal requirements, including GAAP standards.
Conduct financial risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies across all investment and development projects.
Manage capital allocation and optimize financial performance by analyzing key metrics and economic trends.
Establish strong banking, investor, and stakeholder relationships to secure funding and enhance financial stability.
Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to guide strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
Supervise and mentor the internal accounting and finance teams, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
Oversee tax planning, audits, and financial due diligence for all acquisitions and real estate developments.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive financial efficiencies across the organization.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on real estate transactions and investment structuring.
Deep expertise in financial modeling, deal structuring, and transaction negotiation.
Strong background in accounting, with CPA credentials or equivalent preferred.
Comprehensive understanding of financial compliance, tax regulations, and legal considerations related to real estate finance.
Proven track record of securing and managing large-scale real estate investments, with a focus on capital markets and funding strategies.
Strong ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with both short-term and long-term business objectives.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
Experience leading high-performance finance and accounting teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Compensation

Competitive base salary of $250,000 - $350,000, commensurate with experience.
