Encompass is a global technology services company focused on supporting broadcast, cable and digital leaders. We design, implement and operate reliable video solutions that capture, process and deliver our clients’ video content from any source, in any format, to any destination in the most efficient manner possible.

Position Summary

To provide vision and leadership for all aspects of Encompass’ global revenue generation (excluding LATAM), sales and account management strategy. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) and located in Atlanta, GA, the CRO will build a global team and direct the strategic and tactical aspects of driving revenue and supporting profitable growth in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will take ownership of global revenue performance, leading the sales and account management teams across Encompass’ business in the Asia Pacific (“APAC”), Europe, Middle East & Africa (“EMEA”) and North American (“NA”) regions.
This position is a member of Encompass’ global Executive Committee (“EC”), who are collectively responsible for the strategic direction of the organization.
This role will be based out of Encompass’ facility in Atlanta, key responsibilities will include:
Working with the CEO and EC to define and deliver the strategic vision for the business in alignment with the wider company goals.
Responsible for the analysis of market trends and customer preferences to develop revenue strategies for the business, while supporting the sales and commercial teams to identify and close new business across the regions.
Responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the sales and account management teams, ensuring new business and existing customer upsell meets budgeted requirements
Alignment of team objectives with Encompass’ global objectives.
Executive level management of client relationships in the regions.
Strategic expansion of the Encompass business, with a focus on the growth of Encompass’ Altitude Media Cloud hosted suite of products.

Direct participation in corporate strategic planning and decision making.
Management of the performance, engagement, and morale of direct reports and their respective teams, where applicable.
Management of sales pipeline and associated reporting, ensuring relevant data is available to internal teams and for board reports on a monthly basis
Active collaboration with the company Solutions team to pitch and price client solutions as needed and contribute to company marketing efforts
Active collaboration and partnership with the global financial team to ensure the required financial diligence and reporting is in place for the sale organization and that all deals adhere to defined sales metrics.
Active collaboration and partnership with the global People Team to ensure the required policies and support for our teams are in place across the region.
Active collaboration and partnership with global peers and other senior leaders in operations and engineering.
Regular domestic and international travel as needed, including attendance at relevant industry events.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

MBA or Executive MBA preferred, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent minimum
Prior senior experience within the Media and Entertainment industry required, with experience of Managed Services and SaaS solutions preferred.
Experience working within a Private Equity structure is preferred.
At least ten (10) years overseeing large-scale sales and account management teams in the media and entertainment space, ideally within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or technology solutions company.
Extensive experience of the North American Media and Broadcast industry, with experience of international locations preferred.
Demonstrated ability to achieve results in the context of change (restructuring, turnaround, acquisition, integration) in which he/she has been a primary driver.
Drive accountability for achieving results to the business, creating a strong sense of ownership to all parties.

Demonstrated business maturity to educate/influence leaders across the organization on issues, as well as various strategic, process and operational matters that impact the company.
