Hernandez Construction & Development, a full-service general contractor and real estate developer with multiple ancillary business lines, seeks a tech-savvy Chief Financial & Strategy Officer (CFO/CSO) to lead our financial operations and spearhead strategic expansion.

What You’ll Do:

- As CFO: Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, cash planning, and reporting while guiding our corporate controller. Leverage technology to build dashboards and automate forecasting tools using platforms like Procore, Viewpoint, and Data Rails.

- As CSO: Partner with our CIO and Division Presidents to identify opportunities, drive geographical growth, and cross-capitalize multiple business lines for investment into development projects.

- Lead the integration of multiple tech platforms to create a seamless, data-driven ecosystem for financial and strategic decision-making. Dashboard creation and accountability reviews with Department heads and Divisional Presidents.

- Streamline and restructure the organization and manage newly integrated ERP, driving innovation and leading-edge software and technology to optimize efficiency, scalability, and profitability.

Who You Are:

- Proven leader with a strong background in finance and accounting (CPA or MBA preferred).

- Tech enthusiast with experience building dashboards and integrating platforms like Sharepoint, Procore, Viewpoint, or Data Rails.

- Strategic thinker skilled in forecasting and modeling for growth in a tech-driven environment.

- Collaborative, ready to work with the Executive Leadership Team to harness opportunities through innovation, disciplined financial management, and accountability.

- Passionate about automating processes and driving efficiency through technology.

- Proven history of managing groups and departments through effective and collaborative Change Management and Process Improvement Implementation.

- A true self-motivated and proactive change agent and driver who is willing to take risks but is transparent about and learns from mistakes.
