We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and contribute to our mission of excellence in care delivery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare financial operations and the unique challenges of managing resources across a continuum of care.

Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the organization, ensuring financial stability, growth, and operational efficiency. This role will work closely with executive leadership to drive strategy and ensure sound financial practices across the continuum of care. The CFO will also lead a team of financial professionals and manage relationships with stakeholders, including payers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic financial leadership to the organization, ensuring alignment with overall goals and objectives.
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid, and other federal, state, and local laws.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute long-term financial strategies for growth and sustainability.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing revenue generation.
Work with the finance team to monitor billing, reimbursement, and payer relations to ensure revenue cycle optimization. Along with Employee benefits and payroll.
Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, insurers, and regulatory agencies.
Stay up-to-date on healthcare financial trends, regulations, and technology innovations to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of financial operations within a Continuum of Care model (including skilled nursing, home support, personal care and independent living).
Proven record of accomplishment of developing and implementing financial strategies that support organizational goals.
Extensive experience with healthcare reimbursement systems, payer contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and actionable manner.
