Job Description

This position will partner with the Corporate Sales team from a financial analysis capacity. The person in this role is expected to work hand-in-hand with commercial leaders to model, analyze and influence new revenue opportunities across Medline.
Provide and lead financial decision support with business partners; research and recommend options and solutions for improved business results to senior management.
Manage 4 direct reports supporting the customer acquisition sales force across the country. Be a thought-leader amongst other Finance managers.
Lead and oversee financial reporting among the financial analysis team and support new business initiatives.

Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
Be a strategic thought partner with senior sales leadership, FP&A VP to set strategy and priorities.
Communicate financial results for new signing and customer retention analysis. Interpret financial results and metrics to business partners and the broader finance organization.
Own portions of the revenue forecast across the commercial organization including new revenue and pipeline.
Develop complex modeling solutions, analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives.
Work cross-functionally to interpret business drivers influencing results. Effectively highlight the true business drivers and their sustainability (isolating from one-time events).
Perform ROI analysis, scenario modeling, and providing decision support for future business planning decisions and investments.
Drive continuous improvement by creating new analysis, innovating on current metrics and reporting. Identify areas for automation to create capacity for analysis and project work.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma.
At least 7 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.
At least 5 years of experience providing financial advice and counsel to P&L/business owners.
Experience contributing to strategic decision making and goal setting initiatives.
Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience working with large data sets (1 million+ rows).
Familiarity in SAP financial enterprise reporting system.
Willing to travel for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Finance concentration preferred).
Experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
Experience using Tableau (building dashboards, calculated fields, parameters and sets)

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$132,600.00 - $199,160.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
