Job Description

As the Fleet and Workplace Assets - Business Operations Senior Lead, this position will lead a team of both insourced and outsourced resources responsible for the provision and lifecycle management of over 7,000 Fleet and 50,000 Workplace Technology assets globally. The role will lead all strategic, policy, commercial, operational, employee experience and innovation activities for a diverse asset base including Vehicle Fleet (operational and salary sacrifice), PC, TWM and collaborative workplace technology hardware.

The Senior Lead will be responsible for financial performance for this function at both balance sheet and P&L level as well as leading and executing the delivery of key productivity programs, day to day operations, Safety, Risk and Compliance Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team responsible for the management and delivery of services relating to over 7,000 fleet and 50,000 workplace assets
Develop and implement strategic lifecycle management plans for all asset classes.
Manage all commercial and financing arrangements with external financiers, service providers, manufacturers and suppliers with group procurement.
Collaborate with business customers, Risk and Health & Safety stakeholders to develop and implement key fleet safety initiatives to reduce the frequency and type of fleet vehicle incidents.
Lead the formulation and management of annual and three-year budget plans to meet P&L and Balance sheet targets with group finance support.
Simplify, automate and refine relevant processes to improve efficiency and employee experience. Partner across the company to drive innovation and cost optimisation, enhancing employee experience for our Fleet, workplace technology and vendor management.
Develop and maintain an asset roadmap for Fleet and workplace hardware technology, including telematics, automation and reporting.
Build and maintain relationships with peers and industry experts to maintain awareness and knowledge of global market trends for this function.
Develop a multi-functional and geographically dispersed team to create career pathways and ensure business continuity.

About you:

What you need to succeed:

Tertiary qualification in finance, business or an industry relevant field
Demonstrated experience and professional network in the Vehicle, Infrastructure or commercial leasing / finance industries.
Strong stakeholder management
Ability to identify strategic opportunities and align them with company goals.
Have strong strategic thinking, thought leadership and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of financial statements and key performance indicators.
Excellent written communication and presentation skills for conveying strategies and outcomes
