Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will be responsible for managing the Finance Team while overseeing the finances of Goodwill of Greater Washington and Goodwill Excel Center.

Other Duties and Responsibilities: 

As assigned by the CEO.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has direct supervisory responsibility for the Director of Finance & Accounting Compliance, Director of GEC & Special Projects, and Director of Payroll.

Required Qualifications:

Either a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or a Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency. 
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) valid and in “active status”.  
Experience with A-133 audits, A-122 cost principles and Form 990. 
Ten to fifteen plus years in accounting and/or corporate finance experience, with oversight of multiple business lines.
Experience managing complex business lines with multiple fiscal years
Experience managing budgets of $100M (or more).
Strong written and oral skills required.  Word processing, spreadsheet and database software proficiency.  Hands-on experience with financial. management, payroll and G/L software. 
Diplomacy, coaching and counseling, and conflict resolution skills. 
High level of organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of and specific competence with MS D365 Finance and Operations or comparable accounting system.   
Knowledge of and specific competence with Prophix or comparable budgeting and planning system. 
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or comparable HR Management system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $227,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
