Co-Source Solutions is pleased to partner with a well-established niche construction company in Eastern Suffolk County, New York, to find a hands-on CFO to join their Leadership Team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and leadership within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Overseeing a small team, with the focus on growth
Leading monthly close and Work in Progress (WIP) review
Managing forecasting and projections
Analyzing cash flow and treasury-related investments
Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines
Lead recurring audits from outside and regulatory groups
Collaborating closely with ownership on strategic financial decisions
Developing and maintaining banking and financing arrangements
Providing financial insight into potential acquisitions

Qualifications/Skills

Extensive expertise in Construction Accounting, Work in Progress Reporting, Job Costing, and Forecasting & Financial Strategy.
A CPA and 5-7 years prior or current CFO experience within the construction industry
Ability to present strategic initiatives to Senior Management and outside parties
Open to work on-site at the Corporate HQ in Eastern Suffolk County, New York.
