Position Overview
DiagnosTechs is seeking an experienced CFO Consultant to serve as a strategic financial leader on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will provide high-level financial expertise, guidance, and oversight to support our continued growth, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to strengthen financial strategies, review and develop effective budgeting strategies, and optimize fiscal performance.

Key Responsibilities

· Serve as a financial advisor to the COO and executive team.

· Provide oversight of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

· Evaluate and refine financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

· Deliver insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

· Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and applicable federal and state requirements.

· Manage risk management initiatives.

· Support long-term financial planning and investment strategies.

· Mentor and guide accounting/finance team members as needed.

Qualifications

· Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior financial consultant (preferably in healthcare, biotech, or laboratory settings).

· Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

· Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a contract/consultant capacity with flexibility.

· CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline strongly preferred.
Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, CFA) highly desirable.

Engagement Details

· Contract position (part-time/fractional basis).

· Duration and scope of engagement to be defined based on mutual agreement.

Compensation will be open to negotiation.

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per hour
