Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales Operations to lead and optimize our sales processes, tools, and reporting. This hands-on leadership role is critical for scaling our commercial operations as we grow. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution to drive operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continuously improve sales operations processes tailored for complex, long-cycle sales typical in utility-scale infrastructure projects.
Manage CRM systems, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and quoting processes to support sales team efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Marketing to ensure alignment and smooth deal execution.
Deliver actionable analytics and dashboards to provide real-time insights into sales performance and forecast accuracy.
Lead sales enablement initiatives, including training, onboarding, and tools adoption.
Support proposal development and contract lifecycle management in coordination with legal and project teams.
Drive operational improvements to scale the sales function in a lean, high-growth startup setting.
Own sales data integrity and reporting standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of sales operations experience, preferably in renewable energy, utilities, or capital equipment sectors.
Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment, where agility, multitasking, and hands-on problem solving are essential.
Experience managing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales technology stacks.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across departments and with senior leadership.
Proven ability to drive process improvements and scale operations efficiently.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
