Pabst seeks a world-class Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a track record driving growth, profitability and commercial success. As a partner to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CFO will up level the Finance function with the goal of driving towards an IPO or other transaction. The CFO will be a key strategic and operational co-pilot to the CEO, serving as a source of truth, actively involved in driving results on initiatives across the business, including partnering with the Chief Executive Officer, and C-level team in allocating capital, optimizing ROIC, and setting strategy to build a roadmap that will guide Pabst through their next phase of growth. They will bring value to the business by designing, aligning, and executing the finance and operational strategies with a lens towards a future state as a best-in-class public company. The CFO will understand all aspects of the business, have an honest, proactive and collaborative orientation and a bias for action. This individual will lead all organizational functions across finance including, accounting, control, tax, treasury, financial planning, in addition to IT. With a high degree of energy and enthusiasm, the CFO will do more than support the profitable growth of the business, they will be responsible for helping drive it.

Responsibility & Requirements

Function upgrade:

Prior experience upgrading the finance function, building a world-class team and implementing best-in-class controls, processes and systems in a pre-IPO or public company.

Thought / Business Partner:

Experience partnering with CEO, investors and Board to help drive business results, influence the strategic direction and create shareholder value
Adds value beyond finance. Has a passion for the business. Mix of tactical and strategic.
Must have commercial orientation.

Communication & Presentation:

Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels of organizations.
Must have ability to right size communication according to audience, sharing appropriate level of detail, bringing the ability to operate at both the granular and strategic levels.

Functional Experience:

A proven finance leader who understands CPG environments. Step-up candidates with the requisite maturity and experience will also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
IPO experience in a leadership role is ideal. Transaction experience is required.
Has managed entire finance function (accounting, FP&A, inventory management, tax, treasury and audit)
Inclusive organizational builder with proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain world class teams.

Beverage / CPG:

Branded Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience required.
Beverage and/or alcohol experience and knowledge of three tier system preferred.
Mix of ‘big’ and ‘small’ company experience preferred.
