Description Of Work

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides daily programmatic leadership to the Business Office and Contracted Services, Patient Relations, Coding and Billing, Food Services and other areas as assigned. This position reviews procurement activity and operating budgets for the facility and works with supervisors and managers to address individual budgets based on services and departments. The CFO supervises the operations of the Walter B. Jones Center Business Office and staff assigned to the Business Office in conjunction with the DSOHF Budget Office. This position has access to highly restricted information or Patient Health Information.

About The Facility

The Walter B. Jones Center operates two adult inpatient treatment programs on site in Greenville, NC: (1) Woodside Treatment Center and (2) Lakeside Psychiatric Hospital. The primary purpose and mission of the Walter B. Jones Center is "To provide inpatient treatment, psychiatric stabilization and medical detoxification for individuals with mental health, substance use and other co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses for ongoing community based treatment and recovery". The Center is accredited by the Joint Commission and SAMHSA/CSAT. Two specialty programs are offered to all 100 NC Counties: (1) Inpatient Opioid Treatment for adults and (2) Inpatient Perinatal Services for women in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters with substance use disorders.

Minimum Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or other discipline related to the area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of progressive related experience, two years of which should be in a supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
