POSITION SUMMARY:

The Chief Financial Officer provides leadership for all aspects of the company’s financial operations with an emphasis on long-term goals, growth, profit, and return on investment. The CFO is responsible for the management, direction, and coordination of all financial operations and related activities for the purpose of attaining the goals and objectives for Aware Recovery Care to include financial planning, risk management, financial strategies, optimization of company financial performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

*Salary $220,000-$240,000*

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the board of directors and executives to establish short-term financial objectives and long-range financial goals and related financial plans and policies to support the mission of Aware Recovery Care.

Present regular reports on the financial status of Aware Recovery Care’s operations to the board of directors and to company staff.

Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and other required reports.

Reviews financial planning process and suggest improvements to operations to include analysis of operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.

Works with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the budget planning and forecasting.

Develop financial strategies, forecasting capital, and identifying monetary resources.

Ensures the company’s compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and standards of care.

Develop forecasts and analyze financial reports, KPI’s and financial data to assess organizational performance and identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.

Serves as Aware Recovery Care’s finance representative to the board of directors, banks, shareholders, employees, clients, the government and the public.

Oversight of the organization’s financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and goals of Aware Recovery Care.

Reviews the financial results of operational performance and take appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree or equivalent in finance, business management or administration or any related field
- Experience in private healthcare is a requirement.

10+ years of experience in leadership, decision-making, financial planning and management.

SKILLS:

Excellent managerial and financial skills and the ability to take leadership over any operational area within Aware Recovery Care.

Thorough understanding of management and financial practices in all areas and phases of business operations.

Cash management, financial accounting, and corporate finance competence.

Experience in a leadership role within a large corporate environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills and promotion of process improvement.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
